Now that you have Octavo to manage your website, here a few tips to get you started.

Step 1: Website Settings

Click: Site Settings

The first thing you need to do is change your website settings, this area allows you set your global settings and make your site friendly to search engines.


Step 2: Adding Images and Files

Click: Media Manager

You can add your own images and files that you can insert into your web pages. To add files click on File Manager and to add images click on Image Manager.

To add a new file or image click on new Add media icon.


Step 3: Adding Pages/Folders

Click: Page Editing -> Add Page/ Folder

You can then add as many pages and folder to your site as you need.

When you add a page to your website it will not be viewable until you publish it, this is done in the Page Admin section.


Step 4: View Your Website

Click: View Website


Step 5: Walkthroughs

Click: Help Guides -> Walkthroughs (Go there now)

We have designed walkthroughs to hand hold you through common tasks in the system, and help you learn about the system.
